Happy Halloween!

Kambri's cute Halloween outfit from Grandma Curtis!We're busy baking yummy pumpkin cookies for our Halloween feast!I have to point out Cody's pumpkin with a Fire Fighter Maltese carving! What talent!Cody also carved Kambri's pumpkin complete with two bottom teeth and a snotty nose!

The prettiest ladybug I ever saw! I hand made most of Kambri's costume, except the tutu which was made by Ashley Fuller. I altered it by gluing pom pom's onto it!

Halloween Fun!

Every year we go to my parent's Halloween block party which is always such a blast! Kambri isn't wearing her ladybug costume because it's not quit finished plus it was too cold outside to wear it. Cale played lots of fun games and won lots of candy!We enjoyed some yummy food!
There was no way Cale was gunna take his eyes off the prize for a picture!

There were some fun activities including face painting, balloon twisting, a haunted house(which Cale loved!), and a projector screen playing Monster's Inc.

For activity days, we made candy corn, candy dishes and this is what Cale came up with! He did such a great job!

Spider Cupcakes!

This is what our spider cupcakes were SUPPOSED to look like..... And this is all I salvaged from the flattened and dried up cookie legs and heads! I'm no Betty Crocker but my guess was the sugar cookies were no longer "chilled" when put them into the oven! Oh well! The kids had fun anyways with their SIX legged spiders! I made this spider for Cale and had him pose with it!

I LOVE catching these two playing together! One of my favorite things in the world is the sound of their giggling and their squeals of delight!

Happy 3rd Birthday Cale!

We had a great time celebrating Cale's birthday with friends, family, and yummy food! I'm glad Cale decided on the "Go, Diego, Go" theme since lately he's been so into Dora! Diego is so much cooler than Dora anyways, right?! The girl can't stand an adorable headband on her head, but doesn't seem to mind her Diego party hat! Cale wanted to play with every gift instead of opening the rest! I had to pry them out of his hands and shove another gift at him so he would open more! Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful gifts! We're so fortunate to have such great family and friends! Ha! Ha! Notice the ghetto, garbage bag, wrapped present! Well, looks can be deceiving! It was scooter from Grandma and Grandpa Curtis and Cale loves it!Confetti cupcakes! YUM! We also had "Better than sex" cake for the adults! I've been making this cake for years and until recently called it "Heath bar crunch" cake. Thank you Ashley for bringing it to my attention! You perv!Kambri LOVED her first taste of frosting! My Dad decided that the party was getting a bit boring, so he busted out the silly string! Then it was WAR! Everyone seemed to enjoy it...............

Water Babies!!!

Kambri had her first bath in the tub!! The kitchen sink is always so easy but the bath tub is obviously way more fun!!Kambri loved splashing Cale! He really liked having a playmate in the tub with him!If you look close enough, you can see Kambri's two little pearly whites that popped through these past 2 weeks! We had fun at the splash pad at Pecos Park near Cody's station. It was great spending time with Dad before he had to go back to work for another 48 hr. shift. Superman!!!

It always takes some time getting Cale used to the fountains!While Cale has always been very timid, Kambri couldn't wait to get down and crawl out into the water and play in the fountains!

All the little girls LOVED Kambri! They all started playing a game where Kambri would charge them and they would all run away screaming! It was hilarious!

She's a very happy girl, a cuddle bunny, a great sleeper, a wrestling buddy for Cale, and she is just a joy to have around. We love her to pieces! OUR LATEST ADVENTURES!

*SUNRISE CAMPING TRIP*

Over 4th of July weekend, we went on our annual Sunrise camping trip. As always, we had a great time! It was nice to have my parents join us for a day.Ahh! Sleeping by the campfire! Oops! We forgot Cale's life jacket back at camp!

Happy 4th of July!!
After dinner at Charlie Clarks, we headed out back for some music by the band "Old Bones". Cody's Uncle Reed is the drummer.
Some drunk woman tryin to steel my man!Fireworks over Sunrise Lake were BEAUTIFUL! This was Cale's very first fireworks experience! He loved it of course!

Kambri fell asleep while we hiked the trail...in the rain!

Cale fell asleep during our VERY rough quad ride! I had to ride all the way back to camp with one arm holding him and the other arm driving! He then woke up when we arrived back to camp!

Cody attended a funeral and drove in the precession for a fallen firefighter. About a week later Cody took Cale and Slade to a funeral precession for another fallen firefighter.

*DIAMONDBACKS GAME*

This was the kids very first diamondbacks game! Our neighbor friends gave us their tickets that they weren't able to use. Cale loved it for about half an inning! Cale and I left for a potty break and we ran into a family who gave us their Diamond Club tickets! It was awesome although we felt a little out of place! We got free food and drinks and they handed out free baseballs as well! We got hooked up!

*KAMBRI CAN CRAWL!!!*

She started crawling a couple of weeks ago and it is the cutest thing ever! She loves her new freedom and mobility! Way to go girlfriend!

311 Baby!! Yea!!

Last night Cody, Holly, and I went to see 311 in concert along with Ziggy Marley, and some other band. It was so great! It was fun rockin out and feeling young again! We left the show stinky, with headaches and blown eardrums, and no voice left but it was worth it! 311 was awesome! Wooohooooooo!!

What a funny kid!!

Tonight when I was putting Cale to bed, we had just finished reading books and singing some songs and I asked him to say his prayers. He folded his arms and very seriously sang "Heavenly Father had a farm, e-i-e-i-o!" We both laughed hysterically!
